Charlie Daniels was Born in 1936 and raised in North Carolina with Gospel, Bluegrass and Country musical roots. The Charlie Daniels Band was formed in 1972 with the sounds of Southern Rock, Hardcore Country and Blues in a style similar to the Allman Brothers Band. These good-ole-boys were well known as down-to-earth band with conservative values and enjoyed their success through the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Charlie Daniels is well known for his excellence with the fiddle, but also has musical talent with a guitar, banjo, and mandolin.
